(Great Fox Two, Unknown Location In Deep Space, Unknown Time)

(The Great Fox Two floats slowly through space, some parts of the eternal hull sparking with electricity here and there, the once pristine white paint now baring scorch marks, the camera slowly zooms in before transitioning to the bridge where Slippy is sitting at the pilot's seat, typing away at a keyboard, Amanda walks in carrying a silver tray, hot chocolate with four marshmallows in it, she sets the tray on the right side next to the keyboard)

Amanda: Here's your hot chocolate hun....what you did back there was rough, but it saved our lives.

Slippy: *He looks up to his upper right* I didn't have much of a choice, we had to bail back there, the ship couldn't withstand those incendiary missiles, they would've toasted the ship, we're lucky there wasn't a breach in the hull to suck out the oxygen, mostly blunt damage, the shields taking most of it.

Amanda: Falco's been in his room for a while now, even before we exited hyperspace, I think he's taking it rather hard that we had to leave Fox and Krystal back there like that.

Slippy: Believe me when I tell you I wish we didn't have to, but we were forced to leave, a decision had to be made, Falco can hate me for if he wants but the fact remains we're alive because of it....so how's Lucy? She handling this okay?

Amanda: She's managed to regain her cool once we entered hyperspace, she's upset because of us leaving Fox and Krystal behind, but yet she doesn't blame you because it was a tough call...so unlike Falco she isn't taking it as personally.

Slippy: And Katt?

Amanda: She's resting in the medical bay, ROB64 is monitoring her to ensure her injury doesn't relapse on her, but I feel like she wants to go back for Fox and Krystal as well.

Slippy: We'll go back for them, I promise you that, but right now I'm on the U-net hailing a private chat, trying to get the com lines open to find a repair frigate or someplace we can dock so the hull can get fixed, we're by no means in combat condition right now, and going back as we are is an absolute death wish, the Great Fox Two can't take another barrage like that.

Amanda: Do we have enough fuel for another hyperspace jump? *She asks curiously*

Slippy: *He closes his eyes and reclines with his arms up behind his head* Hyperspace jumps burn a lot of fuel cells off, I'm willing to say we have enough for one more jump, we're lucky the blind one didn't fling us even further into deep space, judging by the U-GPS, we managed to stay within' the Gantamza system but just barely, best case scenario I manage to raise a passing fuel frigate, refuel on the spot, then plan our course back to Lylat.

Amanda: It's gonna cost a fortune to repair the hull of a dreadnaught class cruiser carrier like this one.

Slippy: Yes....it is....but I know someone who'd do it for not so much, plus we're in deep shit right now carrying vital information, I wasn't able to access that one computer, but Fox took all of the computers from James' cave nerve center, I wanna give those computer documents to some people we trust.

Amanda: You mean like Peppy?

Slippy: Oh of course I want Peppy to know about it, he's the general now, he has to know entirely, but the other person I want to know is my dad, Beltino, he's the head of the R&D division of the Cornerian military, documents like this are a treasure trove for them. *He grins* I know it might sound dirty, but to make up for the credits we lack for full repairs of the hull, perhaps we could barter top level information in exchange for some high class freebies.

Amanda: Your dad sure loves researching, I'm sure he'd bite for a look at those documents, considering we almost got killed for 'em.

Slippy: Things weren't sitting right with me when it came down to that James guy, and Katt's revelation explains everything entirely, but it was just that one computer I couldn't access which holds all the keys, had we known, we would've been better prepared for it, but it's too late to have regrets....as unfortunate as our current situation is, lady luck is still somewhat smiling on us, lets hope she doesn't begin to scowl.

Amanda: So how long will it take until you reach someone?

Slippy: Could take minutes, hours, days, weeks, months, this deep in space it can take a while, of course we could just risk the planned jump back to Lylat, but it would kill our fuel cells like crazy, but trying to reach a refuel frigate out here is gonna be time consuming....the pressures of intergalactic travel, it'll stress you out.

Amanda: *She sighs* I'll say....so...would you be willing to go outside and break out your welding torch for a light patch up?

Slippy: Wouldn't much matter, we're dealing with thermal damage and hull scorching...the only way to fix that is to completely install a fresh sheet of metal...then it comes down to the smaller system and flight components which might've melted a bit from the heat itself....overall thermal damage is nasty business...heat does more harm to a metal and plastic frame than anything else...even the jell layering in the plastic would melt and merge and it just wouldn't be pretty to work with let alone try to buff out and fix....this calls for full on replacement repairs, not a touch up buff out.

Amanda: I see....so right now we're screwed into making another tough call.

Slippy: Yeap....out of the frying pan and into the fire as Fox would say....welp...hope this hot chocolate gives me the energy for a possible all nighter of trying to save our skins.

Amanda: Don't over exert yourself babe.

Slippy: Sometimes to get results, ya gotta do just that.

(The screen then transitions to the living room, Lucy sitting on the center couch playing video games just to keep her mind off of the recent events)
//////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
(Great Fox Two, Living Room, Unknown Time)

Lucy: *She sits in the middle of the center chair while leaning forward, being absorbed into the fast paced action of the first person shooter she's playing* Come on, come on, almost, pow! Gotcha bitch!

Falco: *He walks out from his room while wearing a white tanktop and woodland camo cargo pants, his hands in his pockets as he slowly walks over to Lucy* You're really calm given what just happened...but I suppose it's better than being in panic mode like you were before Slippy made us do the blind jump. *He says before sitting on the right arm of the center chair and folding his arms*

Lucy: *She pauses the game and looks to her right at Falco* I was freaked out when I saw all those ships uncloaking, the alarms were wrecking my nerves, I was just terrified entirely, but now that we've got some distance I'm sure we can take a breather for now, you were a little upset with Slippy for making the blind jump leaving Fox and Krystal back there...so...you still upset?

Falco: *He closes his eyes and lowers his head* I'm not mad at Slippy anymore...in hindsight it was a life saving decision, a tough one to, overall we owe him for saving our asses just then, but we can't just let Fox and Krystal remain marooned on a hostile planet with those crooks huntin' us and them...the fact we haven't gotten any word from Krystal is a bad sign that they're in deep shit right now, it's makin' me worried like you wouldn't believe, I'm just itchin' to get back down there to fuck some of those goons up. *He says as he begins to crack his knuckles, his left hand buried into the palm of his right hand, then alternating for the same effect as the bones lightly crackle*

Lucy: I wanna get back into it myself, I don't like it anymore than you do Falco, but the ship is badly damaged, the hull icons on the monitors are showing we're in the orange-yellow right now, we're not suited for combat, even with the shields now fully recharged.

Falco: Yeah....Slippy already knows the extent of the damage, we're dealing with thermal heat scorching on the hull, melted plastic and metal isn't a pretty mix, it could very easily damage the circuitry and components for flight performance, we're lucky it didn't mess with our nav systems.

Lucy: Those missiles packed a deadly punch, incendiary missiles, who'd of though it? *She says while narrowing her eyes in an analytical manner*

Falco: The damage has been done, and getting repairs for a dreadnaught class like this is overkill expensive, especially with such a level of damage like this.

Lucy: So how is the ship going to get fixed?

Falco: There's only one way to fix damage of this level, the damaged frame has to be removed and a new panel or part entirely has to be added on from scratch, disassemble and reassemble repair style...well more or less swapping out the damaged part for an identical mint condition part, but on a ship of this size, it's expensive heavy engineer work...we're talkin' manufacturer assembly line building big, you know, all those claw machine hands and stuff just taking it apart and putting it back in, expensive.

Lucy: Eeeessshhhh, that does sound pricey.

Falco: It is, for a ship this size the repair costs would be in the millions, it isn't the same as slapping in a new wing for the Arwings which would cost a couple grands, the bigger the ship the more expensive it is to fix it, not to mention time consuming, for damages like this, we're gonna be out of commission for at least a week, two or three days at least.

Lucy: When did you become an expert on making estimations like this? *She asks with a bit of a grin, her left eyebrow raised curiously*

Falco: Being with Slippy for all these years tends to rub off on you, of course the only one who truly knows the real price is him, out of all of us he's the mechanical and technical genius while the rest of us are just brandishing guns and getting shot at, we'd be nothin' without his technical and mechanical expertise.

Lucy: Hehehe, yeah, you're absolutely right, Slippy might not be suited for fighting, but he sure makes one hell of an operator, hacking into cameras, feeding nav data and real time updates to our headsets, he's really important to the group.

Falco: *He chuckles* Yeah.

Lucy: So...what's up with Katt? You know, the things between the two of you?

Falco: Katt and I have a history, that's no surprise, she was once a member of my bounty hunting gang a long time ago, the "Hot Rodders" is what we called ourselves.

Lucy: *She blinks in surprise a bit* Huh...I always envisioned your gang days being on the streets.

Falco: In my younger years yeah, I've gone through that hell, I've been in gangs before, glad I got out of it, but the "Hot Rodders" were my own until Fox, Slippy, and your old man came along asking me to join the team, I left the "Hot Rodders" in pursuit of something more, back then I was always saving Katt from danger, very much like how we often had to save Slippy, but at least she put up more of a fight so it wasn't all bad, but still, I wanted everyone to be on point. *He sighs and lowers his head, closing his eyes* I've said some things to Katt that I wish I didn't, back then....but after I left and joined this team, Katt kept the gang going and someone else amongst our ranks took over for my former position, someone she began to get intimate with in terms of a relationship, I don't know how it's working out for her now, but something tells me the old gang is no more if Katt is way out here caught up in this shit, and the three guys with her, I did know them, I worked with them on occasion back in the day, never really got close to 'em though, so their deaths don't really effect me like it did to Katt.

Lucy: Would you be upset if Katt died?

Falco: *His eyes slowly open* Of course I'd be upset if that did happen, I hope it doesn't, time and me being an asshole in the past built up distance between us, I was overconfident and cocky, a real jackass, but my time since then has made me wise up, it took some hard knocks and seeing some shit to make me straighten out...the emotions are mixed, regretful and grateful at the same time, regretful because it happened and I know I could've handled it differently, but grateful because it taught me a couple things that I won't ever forget.

Lucy: *She smiles widely from hearing how much Falco has grown up* Wow, you did change, all up in your big boy pants now~.

Falco: Heh, guess you can say that. *He says before getting up from the right arm of the center couch and walks around behind it and proceeds to walk over to the med bay where Katt is, his puts his right hand on Lucy's shoulder as he walks past her*

Lucy: *She looks over to her left and watches Falco walk into the med bay* Time changes people, for someone as headstrong as Falco to simmer down and get wiser, I guess anyone can change if they've endured enough. *She thinks to herself being going back to playing the game by unpausing it* Aaaaaannnnndddd....headshot. *She says casually*
//////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
(Great Fox Two, Med Bay, Unknown Time)

(Katt's bed is in the left row and farthest down next to the wall, she hears the door to the room open because of the high pitched hydraulic pressure sound it makes, she slowly sits up while laying on her back, using her elbows as support as she looks over to the right to see Falco entering the room, Falco enters and holds up his left hand, giving a single wave of his hand from the right over to the left as he begins to walk on over, he then sits down on the bed directly next to her's and leans forward with his hands cupped and head lowered)

Katt: Falco? *She says in a drowsy voice*

Falco: I have to ask you a couple things Katt. *He says softly before raising his head up to look her in the eyes*

Katt: *She sniffles and coughs a bit as she sits up into the indian position, her right hand scratching the top of her head, her eyes closed before she opens them again to look at Falco with her peripheral vision to the right* What about? "The Shadows"?

Falco: *He shakes his head to the left and right* No, about our old gang, what happened while I was gone all this time?

Katt: *Her eyebrows arch down in slight anger* You left us and now you wanna know what we endured? You've got some nerve there Falco.

Falco: *He narrows his eyes in a non intensive manner* I'm not looking for an argument, look...I really just wanna know what I missed while I was off helping Fox save the galaxy, pure and simple, so, if you don't mind, I'd like to know.

Katt: Since the "Titania Incident" with Captain Shears? After that our gang stuck around for a bit, still feeling the rush and how good it felt to do something amazing which benefited the Lylat system, removing a corrupt man from power, but the rush didn't last long, things began to get dull, my relationship with Kool began to go into a stand-still, and Bowsor and Mouser took off to use the credits they earned to start up a business, the "Hot Rodders" was falling apart with our key members going away, sure, we still had lessers like the three I had with me, but our little gang was on the edge of falling apart, and now it officially is history, I was the only one trying to lead the loyal few to keep it going, but now there's nothing left to lead...everyone is off doing their own thing.

Falco: *He closes his eyes in understanding* Katt...

Katt: You left us, you left me, you told me to handle my own problems and I've been doing just that, mister always flying solo, when I needed you the most you just turned your back on me, and now you want to know what I've endured, you bastard, I have every right to be angry with you right now...just for making me look back at the past. *She says while clenching her teeth a bit with an angry look in her eyes*

Falco: You have every right to be angry with me and a slap across the face is well deserved. *He says before opening his eyes to look at her firmly*

Katt: A slap? No.... *Faster than Falco could blink, with her feline reflexes she decks him a solid right hook, the impact clearly being audible*

(The screen transitions for a moment to Lucy who's in the living room, she jumps from hearing a loud thud coming from the med bay, blue shade covering her eyes as she shivers, she isn't going in there to find out what it was, no way in hell, and then the camera transitions back to Falco who's laying down on the floor of the med bay on his right side, his teeth clenched from the punch he just took)

Falco: *He looks up at Katt with his left eye before he grunts to sit back up, the punch knocked him off the bed he was sitting on, but he brings himself back up, his left cheek swelling from the hit* I can't deny that my past actions make me deserve that ten fold. *He says calmly*

Katt: *She smirks as she flexes her right hand's fingers* Be glad I wasn't using my claws, personally giving you a good knee in the balls would suffice, but this'll have to do in terms of getting even for what your actions of leaving has put not only me through but the others as well...we looked up to you boss, me especially, I never told you face to face but I always did have feelings for you, but you were too pigheaded and too much of an irresponsible prick to figure it out, you immature ass.

Falco: I more than owe you a lot of apologies, but right now would you even accept them?

Katt: I don't want your apologies right now Falco, but there is one thing I want. *She says while closing her eyes* Well two things to be exact.

Falco: And those would be? *He asks curiously with his left eyebrow raised*

Katt: *She opens her eyes and smirks* I want your respect more than anything, I know back in the day you've saved my ass like the typical damsel in distress but I'm not the little girl I once was back then, I know it's hard to believe given my current predicament with you guys right now, and the fact that my head is bandaged up, but I've handled many of my own issues in the past without your help, I've stood on my own two feet for a long time now, and I want you to treat me with respect for it.

Falco: *He nods* And the second thing?

Katt: *She folds her arms and lowers her head* I wanna get that computer back from "The Shadows", it's too important to let them hold onto, the fate of many systems hangs in the balance if they keep holding onto it to keep their secrets hidden...I swear...next time I see Krystal, I'm loppin' her with my hardest right hook, took me three solid months to learn what I now know and to even get as close as I did, all that hard work down the drain, bitch is gonna get wrecked for my setback. *She comically pouts with chibi fish lips*

Falco: You can't entirely fault Krystal for the actions she took, she did it to try and keep Fox alive...depending if he still is....or in this case if both of them still are.

Katt: I'm not one for being optimistic Falco, my enthusiastic side died a long time ago, I've become a realist now, the chances of those two being alive is low as hell and you know it, can't believe they held off their wedding just to keep this old team together.

Falco: This team is more than a team, its become a family so to speak, something the "Hot Rodders" never became, even back then the feeling like I have right now with the team didn't exist...sad to say Katt, back then it was all about money, but now, perspective has changed.

Katt: This rag-tag family...am I a part of it? Or am I just an outsider?

Falco: Krystal might've wanted to tear you a new one before she went back with the computer, but the fact she didn't throw you into the vacuum of space shows she has compassion for you, and Lucy and Amanda, I'm sure they enjoy having you around now, plus Fox knows you since the Lylat wars, it's safe to say you are one of us in your own little way...it's like a spider web, all the silk strands binding us to one thing.

Katt: *She smiles a bit* That's kinda poetic Falco, something I wouldn't expect from a tough guy like yourself.

Falco: Time has changed me Katt, I can't change the shit I've done, but I can more than close the wounds to repair the damage done.

Katt: As much as I still wanna beat those feathers off of you for how cold you were to me back then, at the same time your harsh treatment made me open my eyes and made me grow up, I became stronger because of it, heh, like the old saying, I can't hate what made me, and Falco, you made me into who I am today, I took initiative because of your coldness, still I desire to pound you into the floor for it though, ya big jerk, but I just can't get over the fact that underneath it all, some of those compassionate emotions for you still remain...that depends if you're still the type who flies solo.

Falco: *He grins* With the right hook you laid me out with just now, I'm more than willing to say you've gone through a lot of shit and grew along the way, I became a more decent person, and you became a stronger woman in the long run who doesn't always need to be rescued...right now flying solo for my old pride isn't gonna get the job done, so, like old times, I'll have you fight by my side again.

Katt: *She gives a girly smile, a bit of blush showing on her cheeks as if she were her old self during the Lylat wars* It's all I ever really wanted Falco...now, just because you became decent, hope it didn't make you lose your edge.

Falco: Not a chance in hell of me going soft on my skills Katt, you know that.

Katt: Good, first thing we're doing once we're back in orbit of that godforsaken rock is we're gonna fly our asses back down there and start doing some searching...we gotta pull Fox and Krystal out of the mouth of hell, it wouldn't be right to just leave them there any longer than need be.

Falco: I agree, and it would be best if it was just you and me to go down, Lucy can stay up here with Slippy and Amanda in the events of someone trying to attack the ship, the girl got spooked bad by the fleet of stealth ships, but even I felt a chill in my spine lookin' at all of that power starin' us in the face..and to know they were watchin' us for all that time, but Lucy was trained by her old man how to handle an Arwing, I'm sure she'd do just fine in air to air and space combat, it's the ground work for her that worries me, this whole time Fox was trying to keep Lucy off the field out of respect for the well being of her old man, but it looks like we're running out of options at this point....everyone is gonna have to put their best foot forward.

Katt: I'm not going to put my foot forward, I'm gonna put my entire leg forward and kick those syndicate assholes clean where it hurts! My team is dead because of them, and I say it's time for some payback, but first thing is first, the ship.

Falco: It's not just the ship, we only have one docked Arwing in the hangar...the other three got dusted by that friggin' hind.

Katt: Until the hangar is restocked and the ship is repaired, we're out of the fight aren't we?

Falco: As out of it as can be right now, we're not ready for any kind of skirmish, just hope Slippy can pull another miracle out of his ass like he did with the blind jump.

(Just then, the ship begins to jostle, the onboard alert sounding, Falco and Katt both sway from the sudden shake with wide eyes, the wall mounted monitors giving a green check-mark icon before the onboard automated system says "refueling frigate docked, refueling process initiated", Falco shakes his head and grins)

Katt: I suppose this is a miracle or just purely awesome timing on our part. *She says with a bit of a grin*

Falco: Aaagghhh jeez, Slippy, Slippy, Slippy, he's savin' our asses yet again, all this time he spent hailing on the U-net and finally some results.

Katt: So what now? What do we do once we're all fueled up?

Falco: The ship needs repairs, so I'd assume we're gonna be going to someone who can fix the damages, it's gonna suck, I'm pretty sure about that.

Katt: *She closes her eyes and sighs* You know, if Krystal and Fox are still alive right now...I wonder what's going on with them.

Falco: Only way we'll know is once we're back with them...I'd call 'em up on the PDA, but we're too far out of range...same goes for the headset.

Katt: I hope they're okay...I know I've gotten rid of my enthusiasm, but just out of sheer concern I do hope they're hanging in there.

Falco: They're tough, no matter what happens I know they'll endure the hardship and come out on top, those two can get through anything.

Katt: I hope you're right Falco...I really do.

(The screen begins to fade out to black as another transition occurs)
//////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
(Planet Sucross, Undisclosed Underground Research Facility, Unknown Time)

(The camera fades back in showing an overlaying shot of the underground base, the six energy towers emitting their blue energy aura as white particles float around them, each of them having different letters to associate their identification within the facility, the camera then transitions again to a holding cell with light blue walls, vents supplying oxygen into them while the doors are made of indestructible plexiglass with octagon designs on them to provide that high tech look, Fox is sitting in the fetal position not out of being traumatized, but because of being captive in a cell, the chains on his feet are gone, and inside the cell with him are Krystal, Anya, Fintan, and Rebecca, Krystal sitting right next to Fox on his right side on the left corner further inside the cell, Fintan on the right side laying on his back in the top bunk bed, and Anya laying on her stomach in the bunk under him, as for Rebecca, she's on the right side of the room in front of the bunks near the door to the cell, her arms folded as the back of her left foot is planted against the cell's metal frame, and not surprisingly, they're all still in the buff)

Rebecca: I hope you guys are coming up with plans right now. *She says as she looks outside of the plexiglass door to the cell*

Fox: *He raises his head up and straightens out of the fetal position to sit with his legs extended out in front of him, his hands cupped over his stomach as he twiddles his thumbs* Like any kind of breakout, we need a moment of opportunity, we also need to get familiar with the facility to know where everything is, last thing we need is to get lost in a breakout attempt only to get cornered, especially since it would all be close quarters combat...we need to find the armory.

Krystal: Or we could take down one of the guards and strip 'em of their weaponry and armor, take it as our own, wouldn't hurt would it?

Fox: Those guards are heavily armored, I don't think hand to hand combat as we are would be effective, even if we get the drop on them from behind, the thick layers of their gear would soften anything they take...come to think of it Krystal, your telepathy can track people right? So can you track these guys down here?

Krystal: *She sighs and rests her head back against the wall, closing her eyes* When we were in the tram, I couldn't sense anything, even when we were above the facility at the surface outpost, I couldn't even sense or feel any thought patterns below us...this facility, it's like it has some kind of extra sensory blocking capability which prevents me from being effective with my psychic nature.

Fintan: But you were just possessed by a ghost on the tram! How does that even work?! First possession and now your special senses are dead?! *He states while throwing his arms up in frustration*

Krystal: Remember, Rebecca was standing right in front of me, the distance itself played a role in that so my psychic nature could be effective, but this facility, it's blocking my psychic capabilities, I don't know what's causing it...it could either be the materials used to have built it, maybe even those energy towers, something or another, I can't put my finger on it.

Anya: What-ever the issue may be, we won't make much progress running around blind, and I sure don't want to fall victim to what-ever they do here.

Rebecca: We only have one option.

Fox: Which is?

Rebecca: If we see a moment of weakness in those guards, we take them down, fast and dirty, we take their weapons and armor, then we find the armory, then we have to find the control room and bust everyone out, it'll be chaotic that's for sure, and I know a lot of lives will be lost, but we can't worry about every single person in here, we can use the vast numbers and havoc to secure our own escape.

Krystal: *She narrows her eyes while clenching her teeth, quickly looking over to her right at Rebecca* That's horrible and you know it! These people don't deserve to be in here let alone die trying to escape!

Rebecca: *She looks back at Krystal by turning her head to the right, her teeth also clenched* I don't like it anymore than you do, but it's crunch time, make it or break it, and I sure as hell don't want anymore doctors sticking me with needles mind you very much! I've had it with being their little experiment! My left eye used to be aqua blue and now it's violet! They genetically altered me! And now they just want to do more to me to see how far it'll go until I mutate even more!

Fox: Break it up! Break it up! *He yells to simmer them down* I agree with Krystal, it is a dirty move even for us, but I also see where Rebecca is coming from with it, but how about we do this, we take down the guards, secure the armory, then reach the control room to open all the cells and guide them to the armory, we all gear up, access the trams, then we make a break for it.

Krystal: *She simmers down by taking a deep breath* Much better than just having a chaos induced blood bath just to cover our own hides...thank you Fox, a civil idea.

Fintan: Aye, it is a mighty good plan, but we'd have to rally the troops as you put it, can't just have 'em runnin' off to die, some of 'em would be too spooked, a massacre is still waitin' to happen.

Rebecca: *She closes her eyes* It is a good idea but one thing worries me, this is a research and development lab, they're doing bio experiments down here, forcing people to mutate into abominations, if we try to escape in massive numbers, that would give them the green light to just release some freakish monsters on us...and believe me they're not pretty.

Anya: How horrid are we talking? *She asks while looking back over her left shoulder, using her right arm to sit up as she lays on her stomach*

Rebecca: *She opens her left eye with a serious look on her face as she arches her left eyebrow downwards* Freaks of nature bad, those light machine guns would easily swiss cheese us, but to the really dangerous mutated experiments, those high powered lasers wouldn't even register a decent hit, skin so thick even laser fire would be shrugged off as if it were hitting a blast door...maybe the plasma rounds of those gatling guns would hurt 'em, but that's extremely heavy firepower, we're talkin' starfighter grade firepower.

Fox: You've gotta be kidding me! Starfighter grade gatling gun laser firepower is what it'll take to even scratch 'em?! *He says in shock of how tough the bio experiments would be to injure*

Krystal: That's a lot of firepower to put down one thing.

Rebecca: They're bio experiments, what do you expect, they're meant for fighting in war-zones and causing them in the first place, I know this because at the lab I was at previously, one of them managed to break loose from its containment cell, it slaughtered troops of the same armor configurations like the ones here like a knife through butter, it was child's play for it.

Krystal: They moved all of you because of the safety hazard being just that critical?

Rebecca: Yeah, had it not been for that, we wouldn't have met today, it took two VTOL gunships to take it down, it was a massacre.

Fox: *He facepalms and rubs his face while shaking his head to the left and right* These bastards...making monsters like that, what are they thinking, the morons.

Rebecca: They're thinking of only one thing, starting wars just because they can.

Krystal: It has to be deeper than just starting wars, it isn't always that simple minded.

Fox: What exactly is it you have in mind? *He asks while looking to his right at Krystal with his left eyebrow raised*

Krystal: These guys are connected to Andross from way back, the wars are to provide real time feedback of their product's combat performance, they're using real wars as a means to test and further develop their bio experiments, making them far more deadly and lethal, also increasing the chances of controlling them, making them tamed and trained for tactical insertions for maximum effectiveness, and this in turn with help from "The Shadows" results in putting them on the illegal market to be sold off to the highest bidder needing just that much devastating power, from tyrannical governments down to militias and even legit armies in other systems, it'll spark the need for a bio arms race which means they'll make a killing off of it for being in the position of supply on demand...and the profit made will in turn be used to fund the further development and improvement of the bio weapons themselves, it'll be the birth of a new illegal soon to turn legal war economy and it'll spread on a galactic level like a wildfire.

(Fox, Fintan, Anya, and Rebecca's eyes turn pale from Krystal's horrifying assumption and highly realistic scenario, it all just makes too much sense for it to be anything less)

Fox: It would be the perfect crime of the era, the biggest hustle ever on a galactic scale, and if it becomes legal, "The Shadows" would be cemented into an all powerful dynasty where even martial law and the galactic law enforcement federations would by proxy have to overlook the events of their past entirely because they'll be running the economy in its entirety...the governments just like the gangs and cartels of this planet would be under their thumb entirely.

Krystal: Exactly....this is ruling the galaxy without being involved in the government affairs and legislations at its finest, this is their big plan, and now that we know, they're gonna do what-ever it takes to keep the truth from getting out...this is the biggest possible scandal within corporate capitalism.

Fox: My god....and the wars will just cover it all up, people will be too focused on personal agendas to even see the real threat, it'll be a vicious cycle greased in blood...with them being in the position of supply on demand, everyone is going to willingly pay for their own funerals and death beds, and so the bloody wheel will keep on turning as more and more continue to buy and kill, sparking personal reasons of revenge and vengeance.

Anya: That's just terrible! *She snaps in anger as she wrinkles her muzzle*

Fintan: Such a scandal as grand a scale like this is amazing, it goes to show some people will do anything when money is at stake.

Rebecca: To think my mentor died because of this, we were getting too close and now we know why, those bastards, their greed will be the end of them, knowing this, I won't let myself die, not until the entire syndicate itself is destroyed. *She says while trembling with anger, her right hand's fingers running through the strands of hair covering over her right eye*

(But just then, the plexiglass door opens to the cell by sliding from the left over to the right and the short scientist from earlier is seen standing between the two guards armed with light machine guns, the scientist stands with his arms behind his back and a wide grin on his face, his round glasses glaring from reflecting the lights, Fox and everyone in the room clench their teeth in anger, their ears laying flat as they know it's not good)

Mad Scientist#1: I hope the cell is to your liking my little lab rats, especially you, Cerinian. *He says pointing his left hand's index finger at Krystal*

Krystal: *Her angry expression turns into a smirk* Why don't you come over here and try to intimidate me face to face, I'll make you swallow those glasses.

Fox: *He grunts as he nudges Krystal roughly with his right arm's elbow* Not the time to be a bad-ass, they have guns, we don't. *He snaps from behind clenched teeth*

Mad Scientist#1: I see your attempt of trying to make me enter the cell, and I certainly won't do so, so you can cut the tough act right now you little bitch, the only thing keeping you alive with me right now is the fact that you're a rare specimen which I have the once in a lifetime opportunity of experimenting on.

Krystal: *She smirks as she holds up her right hand and flips the scientist the bird* Shove this up your ass and die.

Fox: Krys?! What the fuck are you doing?! Ixnay on the provacationay! *He snaps at her from behind clenched teeth again*

Rebecca: *She raises her left eyebrow and sees that Krystal is trying to provoke the scientist into doing something stupid, she joins in knowing it's a ballsy move, trying to force the guards to enter the room on the command of the scientist, having dealt with these types before, she knows they can take quite a few nudges before losing their cool* Hey doc! I think you should put on one of those helmets to hide your ugly ass face! That way we don't have to die from the sight of it!

Fintan: Oohh? We're crackin' jokes now?! Let me get in on this! Your mother was a nasty whore who sucked a nasty dick! You're the result of the all kinds of nasty she forgot to spit!

Anya: Look at how small you are, a little man with what, a possibly non existing wing-wong just because you're so small~.

Fox: *He looks around at everyone before catching on and grins* Yeah! How old are ya anyway?! I bet ya still have your "V card", old and alone, science is my one true love, go cry in the mirror pal because you're forever alone~!

Mad Scientist#1: *He blinks before sighing* Your planet is dead, your family is dead, you've been experimented on, you're a druggy emo girl, and you're a country bumpkin.

(Fox, Krystal, Rebecca, Fintan, and Anya all look like glossy eyed about to cry chibis from the blunt comeback hitting where it hurts the most, and to add insult to injury, the stoic guard on the right turns to look down to the lower right and chuckles, trying to contain his or her laughter from the sudden burn before comically clearing his or her throat to regain their elite composure)

Krystal: That was uncalled for! *She yells comically*

Fox: You go to hell and you die asshole! *He also yells comically*

Rebecca: Fucker has jokes...not bad....you got me...good job.

Fintan: I AM NOT A COUNTRY BUMPKIN! *He yells while looking like a pure white circle eyed chibi with square teeth and a square mouth*

Anya: *She comically buries her face into the pillow of her bed and sobs in a hilarious muffled tone* You don't know my life you jerk! *She yells in a muffled tone into her pillow*

Mad Scientist#1: Yeah, I have jokes to, now then, as much as I'd love to skin all of you for your insults, science needs you to be alive to benefit our future operations, lucky you, death won't come easy...but it'll be all kinds of painful, now then, lets have the Cerinian first, you've cemented your fate the moment you got snippy.

Krystal: Ooohhhh son of a bitch. *She says comically as she slumps her head down*

(The two guards pull back the slides on their light machine guns making the green energy steam hiss out to show that the guns are primed, their way of telling Krystal to comply without having to say a word, Krystal sighs and gets up, turning to her right as she walks over to the doorway of the cell before the guards step aside, the scientist standing in front of the guard on the left side and facing to the left to look down the hallway)

Krystal: *She looks to her lower right at the short scientist and smirks* Would it kill you to give us some clothes or do you just enjoy having us walk around buck naked you little weirdo. *But her little comment doesn't sit well with the guard standing on her left as he or she cocks back their left arm and hits her with a left hook from the stock of the rifle, the hit smacking her clean in the upper left side of her forehead, she yelps from the hard impact, her head jerking back as the plastic and metal impact is heard hitting her skull, her left hand quickly rising up to the spot of the hit to try and dull the pain down as she clenches her teeth* Aaaaagghhhh, aaaooouuuwww, okay, okay, I got the message, jeez...unnecessary brutality.

Mad Scientist#1: If you don't want anymore smacks to the head from a rifle, I suggest you comply and keep quiet...now move. *He says before placing his left hand's palm into the center of Krystal's back and giving her a shove to make her get moving*

Krystal: *She grunts from the push, her left hand still rubbing the upper left side of her forehead where she was hit* If I keep getting hit in the head like this, it's sure gonna fuck with my mental health. *She thinks to herself as she begins walking over to the left and down the hallway, the plexiglass door to the cell closing back to hold Fox and the others inside*

Fintan: That looked painful, your woman can sure take a hit to the head. *He says while turning his head to the right to look down at Fox while still laying on the top bunk of the bed*

Fox: Me and her both have been having a string of bad luck lately...as much as I want to tear into those bastards, I can't just go Rambo on them, not yet, being reckless right now isn't going to benefit anyone, it's just going to cause more issues than there already is...trust me...right now I'm just livid, but my military training has taught me to think before I act, a moment of pleasure can result in a long term issue which you might not come out on top of. *He says as he lowers his head and closes his eyes*

Rebecca: We won't fault you for not taking any action, the situation is fucked as it is, all we can do is wait for an opening, it's our only hope.

Fox: *He smirks while keeping his eyes closed* Once again...having to put my faith in Krystal, she's the only one outside the cell right now, if she's lucky, maybe she can turn the tides and bust us out.

Rebecca: It's a gamble...but I'll take anything at this point.

Anya: Useless once again....jeesh.... *She pouts*

Fintan: Oh don't worry, we'll get out of here, rest assured...and if we don't, well it's been nice knowin' ya guys.

Rebecca: Don't say that, we will get out of here.

Fox: Come on Krys....you gotta pull somethin' off, I know you can...I just know it. *He thinks to himself while keeping his head lowered and eyes closed*

(The camera transitions to show Krystal walking with the two guards and the scientist, both guards behind her and the scientist on both sides and the scientist in the middle of them as she walks in front of the three in the center, she looks around, her ears tilting and flickering from the sounds of the facility, from the ventilation systems providing oxygen down to the hydraulic "vvwwirrllls" of the mechanical equipment working on the other less fortunate people who were captured and are being experimented on, the plexiglass windows and doors muffling the sound but not entirely, she can hear the yells, screams, and cries of those being stuck with needles, being operated on with the mechanical equipment, as she turns her head to the left, she sees one poor soul resisting as best he can, screaming and swearing only to be wrestled to the floor by two guards and restrained, the scientist in the room squirting liquid from a needle before forcibly injecting the poor man as his left arm darts up from the injection, reaching for help which is never going to come, such cruelty and morbid actions would've effected her if she were the same as she was seven years ago, but knowing full well how it all goes considering her childhood of being captive in such environments before, she's become stoic to it, her eyes turn pale in a cold manner as the memories of her own suffering begin to resurface, her silence coming from just the familiarity of everything before her, experimentation, twisted practices, dissections and surgeries, in her mind, she begins to have brief flashbacks of the times she was held down, struggling to resist being injected with sedatives, being hooked up to various tubes while laying on a gurney in a room, her own blood being drained while having the iv liquid be transfused, the memories becoming grittier and grainier like that of a television showing static as the memories begin to transition faster and faster, showing the trauma it had induced, she then coldly looks over to her right and sees a woman sitting on a gurney in the fetal position, rocking back and forth with her eyes wide and blood veins showing, her mind had been broken and she is now undergoing the traumatized stage, but Krystal is utterly stoic to her surroundings, Kursed manifests on Krystal's left side, also in the buff, Kursed then turns her head to the right to look at Krystal, her eyes a pale violet purple with dilated pupils as a wide grin begins to creep across her muzzle, Krystal looks over to her left at Kursed, her expression remaining emotionless)

Kursed: *She begins to giggle before making a louder laugh before arching her head back, laughing uncontrollably* OOOHHHH FUCK YEAH!!!! IT'S BEEN AGES SINCE WE'VE COME BACK TO THIS KIND OF INHUMANE FUCKERY!!! *With her head arched back, she creepily looks over at Krystal with her peripheral vision, her creepy pale and dilated right eye* Don't you remember the anger, the fear, the hatred, the boiling blood in your veins, remember how much you'd love to kill the fuckers for what they've done back then? Hehehehe, I know that stoic look in your eyes, shutting down your emotions to cope with it, it's not even of your own doing or of mine, it's your mind acting on its own, a defense mechanism, you feel like you can't even speak now right? Yeah, I know, makes you feel all choked up, that blank minded feeling, if there ever was a time to call on my strength little angel, now would be the time, because right now your blood isn't just boiling, mine is to, this is something we can both wholeheartedly agree on. *Her smirk widens as she bares her fangs* Lets massacre these fuckers, lets butcher them, lets bring these poor souls some fucking clarity that their tormentors have been given painful deaths, it's just two guards and a nerdy lookin' little prick, his neck would be so easy to snap, come on, what're you waiting for, rip 'em to confetti with your bare hands, who cares if they're armed just kill 'em!

Krystal: *She begins to bite her lower lip, her sharp teeth puncturing into her lip's right side, but not enough to cause major bleeding, she does so because the sharp pain will suppress the raging need to just kill some assholes right now, she can feel that Kursed despite being her restraint is now working as being her own separate entity with her own thought patterns and reasons, her psychic nature making Kursed act out what she really desires to do, trying to push her over the edge, normally Kursed would hold her back from this, being the side of her that handles what she can't, but the fact of the matter is this, Krystal and Kursed are normally at odds with eachother, occasionally helping and advising the other, but they both share an even hatred for the events happening around them, Krystal being the resistant side while Kursed is the accepting side, just like the events with James, the resurfacing memories is making Kursed's capability of keeping her calm to resist her urges backfire, the balance once again shifting causing an instability between the two halves, a second swell of berserk rage is boiling inside of her right now, but unlike her berserk with James, she can feel it, it wasn't as sudden, she has the calmness enough to bottle it for the time being, she shakes her head to the left and right slowly while making eye contact with Kursed, almost in a "the time isn't right yet" kind of manner*

Kursed: *She opens her mouth slowly and exhales* I see, very well then, we shall wait for when the time is right to let our anger do the talking, but little angel, I do suggest one thing, you take a look at the inner ring of your irises in a mirror when you get the chance, the change is coming. *She says before slowly fading away like dust in the wind*

Krystal: *She raises her left eyebrow from Kursed's suggestion, not knowing what she's talking about, but she manages to take a breath to settle herself down from going off the deep end, her anger induced urges and post traumatic stress nearly made her lose it, but she kept her calm enough to reach a room of sorts marked with red paint text in bold print, she looks up and reads it* Relic room. *She thinks to herself as she reads the text before looking to her right to see the scientist putting in a pin number, the door opens and the group of four walks inside, Krystal's eyes widen and tremble from what she finds behind the door* W-what the?! *She says in a shocked manner, her heart sinking from what she sees*

(The mad scientist walks into the room with a wide grin, his glasses glaring to hide his eyes as he walks around with his arms stretched out to the sides in a "behold" like manner)

Mad Scientist#1: Yes~~~, you see it now don't you?! You are the most important piece to this puzzle Cerinian, look at it all, all of these relics, relics from your home world!

(Like a show-room, the relic room is filled with all kinds of ancient Cerinian memorabilia locked behind clear plexiglass display containers, dozens upon dozens of ancient staffs outfitted with different colored crystals and tips, forged from different metals, engraved with different markings, swords, shields, armor sets, tribal clothing, jewelry, ceremonial trinkets, hand woven cloths, pottery, you name it, Krystal can't help but look around the room in shock that so much of her culture still exists, but one thing stands out above it all, a large rectangle shaped display case housing a neatly arranged armor set as if someone is wearing it, the gauntlets, the grieves, the sandals, the chest plate and lion cloth skirt, and most of all, the helmet and flowing cloth sown into the right shoulder behind it, its glorious dark blue to white color, the gold embroidered designs matching that of her tattoos, she walks up to the display case and places her left hand on the plexiglass as if she's all too familiar with the armor)

Krystal: *She unconsciously begins to cry as she looks up at the set of armor* Mother...this is mother's armor....how....how did they....the planet was destroyed not too long after I was captured...how did they get this...all of this...how is it possible. *She mutters to herself under her breath*

Mad Scientist#1: Amazing isn't it? All of this was taken off the corpses of the slain Cerinians prior to the events of the Lylat wars, even when the villages fell, Andross took everything, as much as he could, figured it would've sold for a pretty penny to fund his efforts, but before he thought of that, he figured it would've been a waste to let all of these objects go to waste along with the species, so to further study your kind, he tried to learn how your weapons worked, despite their primitive looking nature, they possessed something far beyond what even modern laser rifles could muster, I'm talkin' about magic properties.

Krystal: *She looks back over her right shoulder, her eyes wide and pale as she clenches her teeth enraged* That bastard slaughtered my people and now you hope to cash in on our relics, unforgivable!

Mad Scientist#1: Things changed after his death, we now continue to research how they worked, how they functioned, such armor was able to block and even deflect laser fire, even absorb it entirely, the secret components of the Cerinian blacksmithing techniques could revolutionize the metal working process, unlocking the secrets of the dormant magic within the crystals would make men and women become masters of the elements!

Krystal: *She narrows her eyes* You want to industrialize it to use it for war, to use it to arm your mutated experiments, you're fucking insane if you think I'm going to help you learn anything more about my people, how our weapons worked, how our armor was forged! These secrets of my people, of my home, they'll die with me! *She says in a vicious snarl, her eyes wide and pale from the outrage as she turns to her right to face the scientist*

Mad Scientist#1: Like it or not, you're going to be a good little test subject for our research, if you fail to comply, well, I'd hate to see what'll happen to those cellmates of your's.

Krystal: Here I was expecting I was going to be tied down to a table and poked with needles, but all you want are the secrets of my extinct species just so you can reverse engineer it for your monstrosities!

Mad Scientist#1: *He reaches into his left coat pocket and holds up a detonator like device* Comply or else I press this button.

Krystal: What is that?! *She yells in anger, her eyebrows arching up*

Mad Scientist#1: It's a switch, all around this facility are air vents to supply fresh clean oxygen, to the cells especially, with the push of a button and with a built in interface to my glasses, I can pinpoint where to shut the vents off, and instead of providing oxygen, I can release carbon dioxide into the cells to kill off those in them. Inhaling too much carbon dioxide is fatal my dear. *He says without flinching, he'd seriously do it*

Krystal: *She growls and narrows her eyes*

Mad Scientist#1: *His thumb slowly reaches down to the button, his gaze locked on Krystal's and showing absolutely no emotion*

Krystal: *She sees he'd do it and lowers her head in defeat* Stop....don't do it....I'll comply. *She says before collapsing down to her knees, her ears perking back as her bangs cover over her eyes*

Mad Scientist#1: *He smirks and puts the device back into his left pocket* Good, good~, now we're making progress.

Krystal: *She keeps her head lowered, her eyes covered by her bangs* What're you going to do with me?

Mad Scientist#1: An experiment, but not a regular one with needles and prototype formulas, oohhh no, on a specimen like yourself, it would be great to see history be written and documented, your test is a simple one, combat, but you're not going to be fighting mere soldiers, oohhh no, why would we endanger our guards like that, you'll be fighting one of our mutations~. *He says as he presses his hands together at the finger tips in that evil scientist like manner, his glasses remaining glared*

Krystal: *She raises her head up slowly, her bangs moving aside as her eyes have a killer horizontal gleam in them, her eyebrows arched down in anger* You want to see the Cerinian style of fighting first hand, you want to document how strong a Cerinian warrior is first hand.

Mad Scientist#1: Of course~, and now that I have you, I believe I can finally proceed on with making the documentations of how your kind used to be, sad to say, not much data of your kind exists, but this would more than likely fill some of those gaps, if only we could learn how your kind forged these weapons and the sets of armor, such precise metal work on a planet so natural and not effected by technology, truly amazing...it's really sad that the planet no longer exists though, oohhh the secrets we could've learned. *He says before using his right hand's index finger to push his glasses back as they remain glared white*

Krystal: *She looks back over her left shoulder at the set of armor before looking back at the scientist* The combat test...am I going to be wearing the armor of my people?

Mad Scientist#1: *He chuckles* Naturally~, it wouldn't be very good to just send you in buck naked, you'll be armed with the weapons of your ancient roots, and you'll fight one of our experiments to the death, and to give you a better reason to fight, if you die, so do your friends, but if you live, well, you get to see another day and so do they~.

Krystal: Fight or die....just my luck....you better enjoy it while you can, asshole. *She says as she keeps her killer gaze fixated on the little man*

Mad Scientist#1: But of course~! So then~, shall we proceed to the stage hmm?

Krystal: *She slowly gets up from her knees like a warrior risen, she looks back once more over her left shoulder at her mother's armor matching her own posture perfectly, and upon looking back at the scientist, shadows cover and hide her eyes, the armor mirroring her, and then the display cases begin to release white steam as if they're depressurizing, but on a closer look, the display cases are sinking down into the floor, they're being moved to another location* They won't get away with this for long, this outrage will not go unpunished. *She thinks to herself before walking towards the camera, and with a black out, the camera transitions*
